Britton Carter, M.D.- MOVED

Dr. Carter is a Board-certified, ophthalmologist and Eye Surgeon specializing in comprehensive ophthalmology and cataract surgery.  He completed his residency in a combined program at the University of Alabama School of Medicine and Callahan Eye Foundation Hospital.  He has been in practice for over 20 years. He is a  member of the American Board of Ophthalmology, Alabama Academy of Ophthalmology, Jefferson County Medical Society and the American Medical Association.  Dr. Carter performs his cataract surgeries at the Surgical Institute of Alabama

After 25 years of practicing Ophthalmology in Birmingham, Dr. Carter has accepted a position with the Harbin Clinic in Rome, GA. His last day was July 29th ,2022
